App Installations

Once an org has been granted access to an app, there is a brief installation process.

When clicking into an uninstalled app, the Seek Install Wizard will display. This wizard will guide you through the installation process.

The first step is to map the app's declared data sources to your database tables. There will be a text box per data source, where you can enter the fully qualified database table name. If you already have mapped this source in another app, the value will be prepopulated.

Once you submit these mappings, Insight Cloud will begin the installation process. This process will take a couple minutes to complete. The key steps of this process are:

  • Validate Insight Cloud can see all the data source mappings in your database
  • Deploy app logic code into your Seek Cloud environment
  • Create a default variant for the app
