What are Reports?

Reports provide a mechanism for users to quickly access external content from within Insight Cloud. They are essentially an iframe embedded within Insight Cloud that can display any content that can be accessed via a URL. Common use cases of reports are to link to external analytics tools that are used in your team. This way Insight Cloud can become your one-stop-shop for all your team's analytics.

Create a Report

  1. Access the Org Admin panel by clicking your Org Nme in the left-side navigation
  2. Click the "Reports" menu
  3. After clicking the create report button, you will be presented with a form to fill out the details of your report.
  4. Some external sites will deny embed requests, if your report is not displaying correctly, trying configuring it to open in a new tab.

Permission a Report

Reports are permissioned exactly like apps. You can assign a report to a user or a team. If you assign a report to a team, all members of that team will have access to the report.
